Branch Manager for Hometown Lenders, Inc. d.b.a TotalChoice Mortgage is responsible for overseeing the entire branch production and pipeline activity. The branch manager is accountable for scaling the market area by recruiting new team members, building a brand presence in the local real estate market, and originating loans. Ongoing training, promoting positive work experience, enforcing operational proficiency, and maintaining consistent production goals are key attributes of a Branch Manager. Prior experience, proven branch production, and active mortgage license are required for this position.
Sales Manager for TotalChoice mortgage is responsible for successful management of a team of licensed mortgage loan officers in either a consumer direct or retail lending environment. The Sales Manager must provide on-going sales training, initiate marketing campaigns to boost sales production, monitor pipeline efficiencies, and achieve volume and unit objectives set forth by the Branch Manager. Sales Managers must have previous experience and an active mortgage license.
Loan Officer for Hometown Lenders, Inc. d.b.a TotalChoice Mortgage is responsible for originating loans by evaluating the consumer’s credit worthiness and determines eligibility against agency guidelines. The ideal Loan Officer will help maintain and build a reputable brand presence in the local market by promoting the company’s loan products, developing new business relationships, and acquiring new mortgage loan applicants.
A Mortgage Loan Processor for Hometown Lenders, Inc. d.b.a TotalChoice Mortgage is responsible for managing residential loan files by working together with internal parties, clients, and third-party vendors. The primary role of a Mortgage Loan Processor requires working with the Loan Officer, clients, and other operations team members by gathering supporting documentation, reviewing the loan file for accuracy, ordering third-party verifications, utilizing the company’s loan origination system (LOS), and preparing the file for underwriting review. Furthermore, this position requires excellent communication skills as this is a highly collaborative position with all parties involved in the loan transaction.
The primary role of an Underwriter for Hometown Lenders, Inc. d.b.a TotalChoice Mortgage requires meticulous attention to determining whether the loan file meets the company’s risk tolerance and investor guidelines. Underwriters are ultimately responsible for approving the consumer’s loan file by reviewing all supporting loan documents, verifying net-tangible benefit for the consumer(s), and ensuring the file meets all required guidelines. Underwriter will work closely with all parties involved in the loan transaction, including but not limited to: Loan Officers, Loan Processors, Operations Management team, and Post-closing department.
